Los Angeles witnessed citywide festivities after the Dodgers won a thrilling seven-game World Series title. Supporters worldwide united with local residents in celebration, marking the first time in 25 years that a franchise has secured consecutive championships.
Victory Parade Attracts Enormous Turnout
Los Angeles area events featured a downtown parade on Monday morning, a ticketed rally at Dodger Stadium, and impromptu gatherings throughout the city.
Online footage depict thousands of Angelenos packing city center avenues, many carrying handmade banners and team flags. The team was seen traveling proudly on a open-top bus through the masses, raising the championship trophy proudly.
