England's Coach Tim Southee Uncertain on The Ashes Availability

England's fast-bowling advisor Tim Southee is currently evaluating what his involvement will be at the upcoming Ashes contest in Australia.
The ex- New Zealand pace bowler is only likely to be available for the first Test because of his involvement in the International League T20 tournament, which begins on 2 December in the United Arab Emirates.
Southee, 36, assumed a role as England's pace bowling advisor in the warmer months after taking 391 wickets in 107 Test matches for New Zealand.
Commenting as the English squad for the opening of three Twenty20 games against the Kiwis was announced, Southee stated of his availability: "We're still working through that at the present time.
"We'll see the outcome over the coming days."
English pace icon Stuart Broad had declared the Australia team as their "worst team since 2010", but the consultant was in no uncertainty over what to expect during the contest, which starts on November 21.
"In my view there's at any time a poor Australian cricket team," he remarked.
"Our focus is firmly on what we're trying to do. I think the quality of [the English] side that's heading out to the host country is excellent.
"It should be an absolute cracker, that series. Not just [are|do] fans from both nations looking forward to it, I believe the entire cricketing community is."
However, before England head to the city of Perth for the first Ashes match, they face the Kiwis in the city of Christchurch on Saturday.
